If you were misfortunate enough to purchase an iPad 1 in the last couple of weeks, Apple will provide you with a partial refund to cushion the blow of missing out on the iPad 2. You will be entitled to a refund of $100, €100, or £100 as long as you still have your receipt and you if you made the purchase on or after the 16th of February.
We’re not sure about the refund process, but I presume returning to your point of purchase with a receipt will suffice.
