Socialcam are offering a week on a private island on Fiji to the winner of their “Socialcam challenge @ SXSW 2011”
You don’t have to be at SXSW to enter, anyone can enter but if you are at SXSW you can collect a Socialcam sticker if you enter the competition, and if you complete five of the six challenges you can collect a Socialcam t-shirt.
The grand prize winner will be the person who submits the best video as judged by the Socialcam team. Winners will be chosen on March 31st.
To enter, grab the Socialcam app, make a video that completes one of the challenges and make sure your video title includes “#sxsw”. Tag your friends in the video and share it on Twitter and Facebook. Although the competition goes to the best judged video the tips state that the more people you tag the better – so presumably the more viral work you do for Socialcam here the better your chances of winning…
SO what are the challenges? You must video the following:
- Lick Something
- Sing like a rockstar
- Do your best dance move
- Barrel roll (something to do with spinning, I dunno..)
- Find the animals (for people at SXSW – Socialcam have roaming animals there!)
- Choose your own – make it crazy
