Facetime in the App Store

Apple today launched FaceTime via the App Store for $0.99. This release allows 720p video calling from Mac to Mac. The latest Macbook Pro range include Facetime HD Cameras for a more crisp display and the app comes pre-installed.

FaceTime for Mac makes to easy to talk, smile and laugh with friends and family on their iPhone 4, iPod touch or Mac. Getting started is quick and easy – simply enter your Apple ID and you are ready to go. Whether you’re talking to someone on an iPhone or on another Mac, video calls with FaceTime look great. There’s no better way to stay in touch with all your favorite friends.

* I love that bit about your favorite friends! Forget your normal friends, don’t waste any FaceTime on them! 🙂
