iPhone 5: 4-Inch Display, A5 Processor, Edge-To-Edge Screen?

Posted in iPhone on 16/02/2011 by J. Glenn Künzler

In the midst of the many iPhone Nano rumors, one interesting recent rumor suggests that the iPhone 5 will feature a 4-inch display (presumably to compete with the many larger-screened Android devices) and an A5 processor.  This rumor comes courtesy of DigiTimes. This information, they claim, comes directly from Apple’s production lines.

In addition, the Wall Street Journal is claiming that the iPhone 5’s screen will go directly from edge to edge.  Add that the the rumors of improved camera resolution and a potential redesign, possible cloud communication, a dual-mode antenna… and the rumor mill has us all drooling in anticipation of this summer.

I, for one, cannot wait!

    Damn thats ugly

  • Tim

I'm so stoked for the 5. This is the first year ever that my upgrade coincides with the anticipated release of a new phone. I'm there on the day it's released

  • Britney

Definitely NOT loving the design of that!

  • I like it : )

  • John

How would you protect an edge to edge screen?

  • Yasir

Apple dont won't you to protect the phones. Break it and get a new one = more sales = happy shareholders

  • I quite like it. It is a bit Blackberry-esque but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's ugly…
