Firemint has finally released the much anticipated Real Racing 2 HD for iPad. The big deal here is the game turns your iPad 2 into a controller with gauges while you watch the action in 1080p glory on your big screen. It requires the $50 Apple Digital AV Adapter
and HDMI cable for that feature but will also work as a solo endeavor on your first-gen iPad.

Apple has now officially become a credible threat to the living room console market. Expect to see a flood of these eye-popping, gyroscope-using, dual-screen iPad games soon.

Buy Real Racing 2 HD today for $9.99 in the App Store.
