Apple’s New iPhone Already Has a Cheap Android-Based Chinese Knockoff!

Apple’s upcoming iPhone is one of the most anticipated electronic gadgets of all time, and will almost certainly fly off shelves faster than Apple can keep them stocked. The anticipation is so intense, in fact, that it has already inspired its first cheap Chinese knockoff!

As noted by Nowhereelse.fr (via MacRumors, Gizmodo), The knockoff is meant to reflect the look of those two-tone rear panels that keep cropping up, only it has a creepy looking Android-ish bee on the back instead of an Apple logo. It’s also called the Goophone i5, runs Android, and is probably about as good as most knockoffs: A pale reflection of the real thing.

It’s unknown what sort of hardware might be packed in this knockoff, but Goophone has made some pretty decent knockoffs in the past. Still, I can’t imagine anyone would choose this over an actual iPhone unless its incredibly cheap, or the iPhone isn’t available to them…
