Apple Watch Hermès Bands Now Available Separately

As you may recall, Apple announced earlier this month that the premium bands included with the Apple Watch Hermès edition wearables would soon be available for purchase separately. Well, today is the day.

Apple Watch customers can now purchase a Hermès band for their Apple Watch, no matter which version they own, via the Apple’s online store. Yes Virginia, you CAN put a $690 Hermès Cuff Band on your $349 Apple Watch Sport.

Previously, the only way to get one of these fashionable bands was to purchase it paired with an Apple Watch. That would cost you $1,100 to $1,500. You can now get a Hermès band for as little as $340. Such a deal.

The Hermès Single Tour band goes for $340, and is available in sapphire blue, deer brown, fire orange and black for 38mm and 42mm Watches. Owners of the 38mm Watch can also grab one in peacock blue and white. So, you got that going for you, which is nice.

The Hermès Double Tour band is available only in 38mm, and you can wrap yourself up in one of those for a mere $490. The Double Tour is available in regular and long strap models. The regular length comes in white, peacock, sapphire blue, tin gray, fire orange, and deer brown, while the longer strap is available only in deer brown.

If you really want to go for the gusto, you can grab the Hermès Apple Watch Cuff band, which is available only in a 42mm size and in deer brown. That little beauty will run fashion conscious Apple Watch owners a cool 690 smackers.

If you want the look of a Hermès band, but not the smoking hole in your billfold that one would leave, you can check out a variety of Hermès lookalikes on Amazon for MUCH less money, but there are no guarantees as to the quality of said bands.

Another option, which is the way I went, is the Pad & Quill Lowry Cuff Band, which gives you a nice Cuff look, but at a much lower price. You can read my review of the Lowry Cuff Band here.
