Will Your Device Work With iOS 10? Here’s the List of Compatible Devices

As is normal for this sort of thing, The release of iOS 10 leaves a few iOS devices on the scrap heap as far as compatibility goes. That doesn’t mean your iPhone 4S doesn’t work perfectly fine, it’s just not compatible with the upcoming latest and greatest mobile operating system from Apple.

  • iPod touch 6th generation

Yeah, I was pretty bummed out that my iPad 3 was left behind this go-round. But, then I remembered I had just purchased a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. (Did I say that out loud?)

All-in-all, that’s still pretty decent support for older devices. Especially when you compare it to the world of Android, where some devices never get an OS update.
