Apple Reportedly Doubling Production for Popular Macbook Models

According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple may be doubling their initial production for certain “hot-selling” MacBook models.  The report claims that Apple’s Asian manufacturing partners have seen orders for popular MacBook models as much as double, while shipments of notebooks to other brand-name vendors have failed to meet expectations.

The report goes on to make a number of further claims, however the real essence of the report is that while other makers of notebook computers are seeing declining sales, the opposite is true of Apple, who is in fact ramping up production in response to extremely successful sales.
