40% Higher Demand For iPad 2 Than iPad 1

The iPad 2 is a pretty popular tablet device. That’s no secret and it’s no lie.

RBC Capital Markets turned to 2,000 people and asked them how likely they were to purchase an iPad 2. The survey resulted with 28% saying either “very likely” or “somewhat likely”. That figure is impressive in itself. But what is more impressive is the 40% growth in potential buyers when compared to figures from the same survey just after the release of the first generation iPad.

Apple is expected to announce iPad 2 sales of around 3 million to date in the next few weeks.
