Clocks – Best World Clock For Mac

Clocky Version 1.1 was released today. The biggest change is that it is no longer to be named Clocky. Due to a trademark issue, Clocky has become Clocks.

Clocks is one of our favorite apps here at MacTrast. It’s an app we use on a regular basis to check world times and to determine when is the best time to post content on our site and to our Twitter account. For example, right now it’s 2PM in Cork, Ireland, where I’m based but it’s 6AM in San Francisco – the US west coast is a one of our more popular regions so I might consider posting this post to Twitter later today at 6PM my time, 10AM Western time, to get maximum exposure for this post.

Clocks also helps break down the barriers of confusion when a friend in the US says they will Skype me at 6PM their time. I simply add their city to Clocks and I can work out what time to be at my Mac to receive their Skype call.

Not only is Clocks a great app functionality wise but it also has a great design that follows OS X design principles. Clocks is the world clock that Apple forgot to add to OS X. I would be lost without Clocks. And for only $1.99, the price is perfect.

Clocks is developed by StudioDalton.
