iPad 2 Does Better Video Than Motorola Xoom, Acer Iconia

Netbooknews has recently run an interesting comparison between the video recording capabilities of the Motorola Xoom, iPad 2, and Acer Iconia Tab A500. While the iPad 2’s camera specs appear worse, it comes out significantly ahead!

While both the Xoom and Iconia have a 5MP rear-facing camera, compared to the iPad 2’s 0.92 megapixel offering, Apple’s tablet recorded notably better video footage. This seems to be a case of optimization, with Apple clearly focusing on the video capabilities of the camera rather than the photographic ones. And admittedly, the Android tablets do take better stills.

Still, though, interesting to show that specs don’t seem to matter as much as most give them credit for. Check out the video below for the full video comparison between the three devices.
