Normal Service Returns To Cydia After 86 Hours Of Down Time

Cydia users were left in the dark for three and a half days as access to the Jailbreak apps directory was restricted by an outage at Amazon’s EC2 cloud computing service.

Jay Freeman tweeted a celebratory tweet late last night in which he announced the return of Cydia and his impending date with a piece of cake.

Cydia was largely inaccessible for the past 86 or so hours with limited windows of uptime as Amazon attempted to bring their service back online.

It now looks as though the service is back up and running.
