$211,000 Apple-1 Fired Up In Turin

The Christie’s auctioned Apple-1 which fetched a whopping £133,250 (roughly $211k) was on show at the Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy this week. The auction winner Mark Bogle brought the Wozniak built Apple-1 on stage with him to discuss it’s place in computing history with some professor bods and all round techie folk. The system was booted and with the help of a little modern tech in the form of an oscilloscope and a MacBook Pro it was fed into an NTSC montitor which displayed the words “Hello Polito”.
