MacBook Air Refurbs Drop To $829, Refresh Pending?

Apple has once more lowered the price on refurbished MacBook Air laptops, bringing the cheapest option down to just $829. Could this be a sign that the machines are due for a refresh sooner rather than later?

We have previously reported on a significant rumor that the MacBook Air refresh could drop in June or July, with this latest piece of info simply adding fuel to the fire, making the rumor seem a bit more likely.

It’s likely that this price drop is a sign of Apple clearing out its inventory of MacBook Airs in order to make room for impending refreshed models. The refresh is likely to bring Thunderbolt I/O and Sandy Bridge processors to the MacBook Air.

Your thoughts? We, of course, welcome them. Sound off in the comments!
