OS X 10.6.8 Update Impending, Due Any Time Now

As it turns out, there’s an interesting tidbit hidden within the support documents for the newly released Final Cut Pro X, and they indicate that updating to Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later is recommended before using Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, or Compressor 4.

Since 10.6.8 isn’t out yet, there are two possibilities: Either this is a strong indication of an immanent update to Snow Leopard, or Apple has a typo in their support document. Personally, I can’t say which, although the 10.6.8 update is due time-wise…
