Apple Details App Store Volume Licensing For Businesses

Apple has just sent out an email to registered iOS developers detailing a new volume purchasing. Essentially, Any developer who produces an app costing more than $10 can now arrange for discounted bulk licensing rates for that app.

The usefulness of this is both immediate and apparent. A business that requires their employees to have access to all their computer on the go, for instance, could volume license an app such as LogMeIn Ignition ($29.99, App Store Link) so long as the developer chose to set up the arrangements, and get a significant bulk discount on their purchase (as well as saving themselves having to make the purchase hundreds of times).

But don’t take my word for it – see for yourselves! Below, you’ll find the full details of the program as given through the iOS Developer Portal. You can click on the image to expand it into a larger version.
