Following the leak of some alleged design specs late last month, MacRumors is now reporting that some suppliers are already beginning to sell iPhone 5 hard shell cases for the iPhone 5 based on those same designs.
Of course, it’s not a very secure move, as it’s still entirely unclear whether or not those leaked designs were authentic in any manner, although they did reflect rumors stated by ThisIsMyNext earlier this year.
The new cases show the same tapered back panel as the leaked design document, as well as showing the mute switch as being relocated to the opposite side of the phone. If nothing else, the availability of these cases shows a high level of confidence in some manufacturers that the leaked case designs are authentic.
