Popular iPad Web Browser Sleipnir Comes To The Mac

Sleipnir, a long-time popular alternative web browser for the iPad, has finally come to the Mac, bringing with it a number of very interesting new features, including a unique interface, group tap management, and the ability to sync with Sleipnir for iOS.

The Mac version of Sleipnir is still in beta, and will likely experience many changes before reaching its final version. The new browser is already fully compatible with OS X Lion, however it does not work with full-screen mode in it’s current version.

Although the browser isn’t quite polished, it does feel very solid, the bookmark sync works well, and the browsing experience is fast, efficient, and very comfortable.

There are a lot of things to like about Sleipnir, such as the way it groups tabs, its clean and fresh interface, and its remarkable simplicity. If you’d like to give it a try (keeping in mind that it is a beta), just head to the browser’s official website. The iPhone and iPad app can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store (Free, App Store Link)
