Adobe’s Sees 45% Mac Sales Growth Following Final Cut Pro X Backlash

Adobe revealed today in a broad press release that they have seen 45% sales growth from their Mac customers this year, with most of that growth consisting of disappointed Apple customers switching from Apple’s Final Cut Pro X to Adobe’s video production tools.

Adobe’s Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium software suite has introduced new features and performance, and seems to even be swaying previously loyal Final Cut Studio customers.

Of course, another significant factor in Adobe’s peak in Mac software sales, as pointed out by 9to5Mac, is that they have been offering a 50% discount to those disappointed with Apple’s Final Cut Pro X back in _______.

Whatever the reason, Adobe is doing very well with their professional video tools, whether that was directly related to consumer disappointment with Final Cut Pro X or not.
