T-Mobile has been the topic of some discussion these past weeks following rumors that T-Mobile might get the iPhone 5 at launch. Adding fuel to the fire, T-Mobile has scheduled an all-hands day for September 24th – just 2 weeks ahead of the expected October 7th iPhone 5 launch.
Electronista reports on a leaked internal T-Mobile memo that details the “All Hands Day” for Saturday, September 24th. The exact details of the meeting aren’t clear, but it’s suspected that T-Mobile could be preparing for a product release or an upcoming higher-than-normal sales volume day.
It seems likely that the event is related to the upcoming iPhone 5 launch. Considering that AT&T, Verizon and Sprint are likely all getting the iPhone 5 at launch, and T-Mobile has been rumored to be included as well, it would make little sense for Apple to exclude T-Mobile from the upcoming iPhone 5 launch. Further, the fact that T-Mobile is already accepting iPhone 5 reservations in Germany seems to have relevance here.
