If you love Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series of games, you’ll be excited to note that Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto III will be coming to iOS later this fall to celebrate the game’s tenth anniversary.
Grand Theft Auto III launched ten years ago this month, and quickly became one of the most popular games at all time due to its violence, amazing playability and free-roaming gaming environment.
The game will only be available for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 due to the inclusion of the A5 processor in both of those devices. It’s unclear whether Rockstar is planning on revamping the graphics for iOS, but considering that it’s an iPhone 4S & iPad 2 exclusive title, I’m guessing the answer is yes.
