Apple’s Founding Document Goes Up for Auction

The original three-page contract that founded Apple Computer (pictured below via The Verge) is up for auction at Sotheby’s in New York, reports Bloomberg, and is expected to sell for up to $150,000.

The contract, dated April 1st, 1976, was between Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, establishes each person’s share of the company, and serves as the foundation for the now multi-billion dollar corporation.

Also included in the package are documents detailing Ronald Wayne’s withdrawal from Apple just twelve days after the company was founded, in which he cached in his 10% share of the company for just $800 (which was worth $2.8 billion dollars in late 2010).
