Apple Posts Black Friday Announcement – Shoppers Start Your Engines!

Apple’s U.S. online store has joined its international brethren by announcing its Black Friday Online Sale. This “special one-day Apple shopping event” is Friday, November 25th.

As MacStories posted, an online banner can be seen on Apple’s U.S. online store, announcing the sale this Friday. The banner had previously been sighted on the Australian, Italian, and UK online stores. The banners read:

Mark your calendar now, and come back to the Apple Online Store for the special one-day event. You’ll discover amazing iPad, iPod and Mac gifts for everyone on your list.

The Black Friday event is also expected to take place in Apple’s physical retail stores, although there is no mention of this in the banner.

I can speak from experience, the employees at the Apple Stores are fervently gearing up for Black Friday, (and every crazy shopping day right up to Christmas!) One of the most hectic, and fastest moving days of my life was the Black Friday I worked at an Apple Store. It’s crazy, but fun. The day passes in a blur. I highly recommend going to the Apple Store on Black Friday to anyone who wants to experience “controlled chaos”.
