Galaxy Tab Ban Being Reviewed by Australian Appeals Court

Following a recent injunction in Australia banning sales of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 in that country, Bloomberg now reports that an Australian appeals court is now reviewing the case.

Judges in the case seem skeptical over the injunction’s fairness, suggeting that the ban may soon be lifted when the court rules early next week.

The injunction was originally filed by Apple, who claims that Samsung has blatantly copied their designs and taken advantage of their intellectual property.

A question remains over whether lifting the injunction would significant harm Apple, a the Galaxy Tab 10.1 bears a strong resemblance to the iPad, and the full trial isn’t due to take place until March.
