Apple released Thunderbolt Display Firmware Update 1.1 late yesterday to address fan noise issues, as well as provide continued stability enhancements for the Thunderbolt Display released earlier this year.
About Thunderbolt Display Firmware Update 1.1 This update addresses a fan noise issue affecting a small number of Apple Thunderbolt Displays and improves stability. The updater application will be installed in the Utilities folder inside the Application folder and will be launched automatically when you close this installer. Please follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the update process.
The update comes in at less than a megabyte, and can be downloaded through Software Update for eligible users, as well as directly from Apple.
