Chronic Dev Team Demonstrates Untethered iOS 5 Jailbreak

Well-known iOS hacker pod2g posted a video on Twitter this morning demonstrating a working untethered jailbreak for iOS 5, which would provide a more stable and permanent jailbreak than current untethered solutions.

There’s still no word on when the jailbreak might be released to the public, but this is big news for the jailbreak community, who have been waiting for an untethered iOS 5 jailbreak since the update was released in October.
