The awesome new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, which we posted just a few days ago, has now broken an all-time iTunes download record. According to Mashable, the trailer brought in a whopping 12.5 million views to the iTunes Movie Trailers site in just 24 hours!
Looks like people are ultra excited for the upcoming Batman movie, due out in summer of next year! The trailer was released Monday as an iTunes exclusive, and has since found its way onto YouTube and other sharing avenues.
The previous record was held by Marvel’s The Avengers trailer, which raked in 10.5 million views in a 24 hour period.
