Steve Jobs Discusses Video Games as the Future of Learning (Video)

This cool Steve Jobs clip from 1990 shows Steve Jobs discussing the idea of video games as a future of learning (how computer simulations can improve the education experience), as well as the future of the Library of Congress.

I think Steve Jobs is right about one main point in the clip: computer simulations and interactive media could definitely be used more in the education world, and it’s a bit disappointing that this isnt happening on a large scale yet.

As TheNextWeb points out, the video also features Steve Jobs well-known “bicycle for the mind” analogy, suggesting that computers significantly stimulate and exercise the mind. The full clip is embedded below:
