Apple has been offering discounted sets of laptops to educational institutions for some while, helping to equip teachers or students with laptops, as well as a “Learning Lab” set of 10 or 20 MacBooks, iPads or iPhones with a custom charging cart. The Learning Lab packs have also been updated with the MacBook Air, and now also include an AirPort Extreme wireless router.

It’s sad to see the white MacBook go, but at least their replacing it with something even better! The new packages are available on Apple’s educational institution online store. Apple has not yet updated their education page with the new packages.
