How To: Expand The Audio Functions In The Menu Bar

If your want additional sound options from the Menu Bar then this hint is for you. By default you will only see the volume level slider as shown below:

If you hold down the Option key on your keyboard while clicking the mouse key you will be presented with the following options:

This additional option is especially handy should you wish to change your input or output devices. You can also access the entire series of Sound Preferences from this menu.
