New Kindle Fire Ad: It Takes Three Kindles to Equal (The Cost Of) One iPad

Amazon is taking aim at the iPad in a new ad (via TheNextWeb), pointing out that you can buy two Kindle Fires and a regular Kindle for less than the cost of a single iPad, as well as highlighting the iPad’s poor reading performance in direct sunlight.

There’s no doubt about it: the Kindle Fire is extremely affordable. Of course, considering that the Kindle Fire has gotten overwhelmingly bad reviews in terms of user experience and overall product design. Perhaps what Amazon was really saying is that it takes three Kindles to equal one iPad…
