Baldur’s Gate Returns To The Mac

Following the announcement of a modernised version of Baldur’s Gate for the iPad, Overhaul Games have revealed that they will also be bringing an Enhanced Edition of the game to the Mac platform.

The game had already been released for the Mac in 2000, however when Apple dropped the Classic architecture and Overhaul Games did not update the game, it became unusable.

It should be available on the Mac App Store this summer, with new quests and the Tales of the Sword Coast extension. It will also allow networked games between iPad, Windows and Mac, so you can play with your friends.
