Tim Cook Named as Highest Rated CEO of 2012

Tim Cook has officially been taking at the helm at Apple for less than a year, yet according to the latest report from Glassdoor (via AllThingsD), Cook is already rated as the top CEO of 2012 based on employee approval of his leadership within Apple.

Tim Cook takes the top spot with a 97% approval rating. While many speculated how Cook would be received by employees and how he would lead the tech giant, he seems to have settled in quite nicely. By comparison, when Steve Jobs stepped down in August 2011, his cumulative rating was 97% approval, though his rating between March 2010 and March 2011 was 95%.

The next highest rated CEO was Jim Turley of Ernst and Young with a 95% approval rating. It appears that, despite some initial concern about Apple’s future after Steve Jobs passed away, Tim Cook has really taken the bull by the horns.
