Apple Releases Third Developer Preview of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

Apple has released their third developer preview of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. The update features a build number of 12A178Q, and includes a host of bug fixes, although no mention is been made of any new features in the build.

The release comes just one month after Developer Preview 2 was seeded, and is available immediately to registered Mac developers through Apple’s developer portal. The preview is distributed as a redeem code for the Mac App Store.

Developer Preview 3 comes with a pretty massive list of bugs and known issues, especially for a third developer preview. Even so, Apple definitely appears to be making strong progress on preparing Mountain Lion for its public launch.
