Apple Working on Multi-User Support for the iPad

Users have been craving multi-user support ever since the first iPad was unveiled. Fortunately, it seems that there is good news, as Apple has now begun listing the lack of multi-user support as a known issue, and reveals that they are “investigating” the matter.

The above message (via AppleInsider) was sent in response to a bug report on Apple’s lack of multi-user support filed by an unknown developer, and seems to imply that Apple is working on adding support for multiple users to the iPad, although it remains unclear how they might approach adding the feature.

Allowing multiple users to each have their own wallpapers, folders, and other settings on the iPad would make the device much easier to manage for families, as well as making it easier to allow others to use your iPad without putting your information at risk.

What are your thoughts? Would you be excited for Apple to add multi-user support to the iPad?
