iPad Makes Up 95 Percent of Tablet Web Traffic

While IDC recently revealed that the iPad makes up 68% of worldwide tablet market share, market research firm Chitika has revealed something just as impressive, stating that the iPad also accounts for a whopping 95 percent of all tablet web traffic!

Ordinarily, you’d expect web traffic share to be in the same general area as market share – but apparently iPad users use their devices for browsing the web far more than users of other tablets (probably because the iPad provides an excellent web browsing experience!)

By comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab holds on to just over 1%. Do owners of other tablets even use their devices? Or are Android tablets nothing more than high-dollar beverage coasters?
