T-Mobile Targets AT&T and the iPhone 4S in New Speed Comparison Ad

The battle of the carriers continues, with T-Mobile bashing the speed of AT&T’s 4G network in its latest TV commercial.  Part of its new ‘Alter Ego’ advertising campaign, it directs the viewer to the Test Drive tool on their website, allowing you to compare speeds with other carriers including AT&T, Sprint and Verizon.

This type of rival-bashing advert is now pretty commonplace in the technology industry, with Samsung having taken similar tactics against Apple. While brand-attacks are certainly nothing new in the advertising industry, they’re still just as sad and desperate as ever…
