Filemaker Releases Bento 4 For iPad

Apple subsidiary Filemaker has released a brand new version of Bento exclusively for iOS (iPad, iPhone), giving the you the ability to use it as a standalone app without the need for any other Mac support, unlike the older versions.

For those that don’t know, Bento is a great and easy to use database application, a Filemaker Pro for consumers in other words. New features in the iOS version of Bento 4 include new templates and Bento Template Exchange, as well as a new search functionality allowing you to quickly find and sort information in all input fields.

It’s also the first time that the iOS version of Bento has all the functionality of the Mac version – and more. It’s easy to perform calculations using the touch screen interface, something that the Mac can’t really replicate. If you’re looking for an organizer or mobile database app, this is definitely the way to go.
