First Leaked Accessories Surface for iPhone 5’s New Mini Dock Connector

We’ve already heard quite a bit about Apple’s new mini-dock connector, which is expected to debut with the new iPhone, and be rolled across to all of Apple’s products over time. Leaked cables and photos of the connector (1, 2) have already surfaced, and numerous reports from highly credible sources all suggest that the smaller dock connector is coming.

Until now, it’s been unclear how swiftly accessory makers would adapt to Apple’s new connector. Scosche appears to be on the ball, however. iLounge shares several pics of accessories designed for Apple’s new dock connector, including a cable that converts between the new connector and MicroUSB.

Each of the images appears to show upcoming products from leading third-party accessory maker Scosche, beginning with “syncABLE Pro,” a dual-device wall charger and “reNUE Pro,” a dual-device car charger. Both charging products are bundled with a cable that converts its Micro USB plug into a “new Apple connector,” and come in multiple versions with varying levels of power output.

It can’t be completely confirmed that the images are authentic – but they do resemble Scosche’s current product lineup, and they do appear very convincing. They’ve even requested that sites such as MacRumors remove the photos, making the images seem even more credible.
