First Leaked Images Surface of a “Working” iPad Mini

With Apple’s 7.85-inch iPad Mini set to be announced at a rumored October media event, Chinese website Bolopad (via Mashable) posts images of what they claim is an intact and functional iPad Mini.

The images look quite a bit better than previous leaks, and closely match the specs recently leaked by a trio of credible sources. The narrower bezel, thin build, and the smaller Lightning dock that debuted on the iPhone 5 are all clearly visible, and it’s assembled with what appears to be a working display.

As always, it’s unclear whether or not these photos are legitimate – but they do look fairly convincing. This could mark the beginning of a massive stream of leaks, such as what we saw leading up to the iPhone 5! Mashable sums it all up in the below video clip (Flash only, unfortunately)!

The iPad mini is expected to be as thin as an iPod touch, and feature a narrow bezel, and is expected to be launched in October for between $200 and $300 (12). It will likely resemble a smaller version of the iPad 2.
