In an interview with Bloomberg TV, David Lawee, VP for corporate development, says he’s hoping Google is “over the hump” in the “thermonuclear war,” and says Samsung losing the legal battle against Apple was a big wake-up call.
Google was shocked when Apple won its lawsuit against Samsung. Apple’s fights against Android OEM’s are merely a proxy war between Apple and Google. If Apple can win against the Android licensees, they win against Google.
