How Apple’s iPhone 5 Pre-Orders Compare to The iPhone 4 and 4S (Chart)

The iPhone 5 is already selling extremely well. Apple announced this morning that they sold over two million iPhone 5 pre-orders in the first 24 hours – a new all-time record far beyond the numbers set the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S!

How do these figures stack up against previous iPhone pre-order records? GigaOM has released an interesting chart that puts it all into perspective!

It’s a pretty remarkable difference by all accounts, and it sets the iPhone 5 firmly on track to become the most popular consumer electronics launch of all time!
