Apple Releases iOS 6.1 Beta 2 to Developers

Following last week’s release of the first iOS 6.1 beta to developers, Apple has now released iOS 6.1 beta 2 through the developer portal, as well as over-the-air update for devices with iOS 6.1 beta 1 installed.

The first beta only included fairly minimal changes, although improvements to Maps and Passbook pass handling were noted. We’ll let you know if we find anything new in the second beta. If you find something interesting, please let us know!

Apple also released a beta of the Apple TV software, which is available through the developer portal for registered iOS developers.
