Apple Cuts Pricing on Thunderbolt Cable by 20 Percent, Releases New Shorter Version

Apple has reduced the price on their official Thunderbolt cable for the first time since launch, bringing the price down to $39 from the previous $49 price. They have also revamped their Thunderbolt cable lineup with the addition of a new shorter cable, with is 0.5M in length, and comes with a $29 price tag.

Apple has reduced the price of its 2.0 m Thunderbolt cable from $49 to $39. […] To go along with the price cut, Apple has also released a shorter variant of the Thunderbolt cable.

The lower-priced 2-meter cable and the new 0.5-meter cable are both available now from the Apple Online Store, and are listed as being in stock.
