Apple Wants a Software Manager/Engineer to Build ‘Next Gen Features for Apple TV’

9to5Mac reports that Apple has posted a job listing in search of a new software engineer to focus on “next generation features for Apple TV”. The job listing follows one from last month seeking an Apple TV software engineer.

Apple TV

The Job Summary reads:

The Apple TV team is looking for an experienced engineering manager to help deliver the next generation features for Apple TV. Bring your creative energy and engineering discipline, and help us bring the Apple experience to the Living Room.

The job description says Apple is looking for someone who can, “Lead a team of engineers working on exciting new features and functionality – Drive releases from initial concept to completion – Work closely with cross functional teams, representing Apple TV across Apple – Develop the engineering plan for upcoming projects – Communicate status to key stakeholders and senior management.”

While no specific plans have been announced about the Apple TV’s future, the job listings do suggest that Apple is looking at increasing staffing to push forward on television related projects.
