Apple Releases iOS 6.1.2 Update – Addresses Exchange Calendar Bug

Apple has just released iOS 6.1.2. Apple says the update addresses the Microsoft Exchange bug we reported last week. The update is available as an Over the Air update.

From the update screen:

Fixes an Exchange calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life.

The update shows as Build 10B146 for most devices, the exceptions are with cellular-capable iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad models that show it as Build 10B147.

MacRumors reports that some of their sources are saying the update also addresses the lockscreen passcode issue also reported last week, but that is unconfirmed at the time of this post. We’ll keep an eye on any further reports about any fixes included in the update.
