Tumblr Updates iOS App New Camera Interface, Support for Photosets

Tumblr has tumbled out a new version of its iOS app, bringing a number of new features to the blogging service including photosets, a new camera interface, the ability to double-tap a post to “like” it, and single tap your avatar to make changes.

The changes were announced on the Tumblr staff blog. Tumblr 3.3 is a universal app that works on both the iPad and iPhone.

Improvements include:

  • Photoset functionality, allowing users to create and share photo montages through the microblogging service. Previously, the feature was available as the standalone “Photoset” app.
  • A redesigned camera interface with enhanced features that simplify the process of formatting and taking pictures to post to a blog.
  • The app now automatically fetches titles for copied or entered URLs.
  • Users can now double-tap a post to like it, and single tap their avatar to make changes.

The Tumblr app is available FREE for both the iPhone and iPad in the App Store. [DIRECT LINK]
