Apple Drops Prices on 2nd/3rd-Gen iPads, Offers Current-Gen Refurb iPod nanos

If you’ve been looking for a refurbished Wi-Fi+3G or Wi-Fi+Cellular model iPad at a good price, you might want to check the Apple Store online. Apple has dropped prices on 2nd and 3rd generation models of the popular tablets. You might want to pick up a refurbished current generation iPod nano too, they’ve made those available for the first time also.

Interested customers can now pick up a 2nd generation iPad Wi-Fi+3G 16 GB for only US$349 — thats $180 (34%) off the regular $529 price. The 32 GB unit costs $429 (a $200 savings), and the 64 GB is $529 ($200 off).

As for the 3rd generation iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular, the 16 GB is only $409 — thats $170 (29%) off the regular $579 price. The 32 GB unit costs $499 (a $180 savings), and the 64 GB is $579 ($200 off).

Prices on the refurbished models are good while supplies last.

MacRumors also reports that Apple has began offering refurbished models of the current generation (7th-gen) iPod nano in its online store.

The refurbished seventh-generation iPod nano models come with 16 GB of storage and are priced at $129, a $20 discount from the standard price. All seven standard colors of the iPod nano are currently available, excepting the special (PRODUCT) RED version which is currently unavailable in the refurbished store.

All of Apple’s refurbished devices come with the same one-year warranty that standard products offer, and have all been thoroughly tested for reliability. The units also come with new batteries and outer casings.
