AppleInsider:

With proceeds going to support The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights, the Apple chief has promised the winner the opportunity to sit down over coffee with Cook at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino for between 30 minutes and an hour. The offer went live on charity auction site Charitybuzz and currently has two bids.

The auction, with an estimated value of $50,000, has 20 days left to go. The winner of the auction will be allowed to bring a guest and have coffee with Cook. Be advised, the bid doesn’t include travel and accommodations, so be sure to budget a couple grand for those.

The legal terms for the auction state that the winning bidder is expected to have “polite manners and respect for the generous donor,” and the winning bidder and guest will be subject to security screening. Sorry Samsung executives.

A quick check of the auction page shows that the bidding now stands at: $90,000.

UPDATE (04/25/2013 – 7:40 AM Pacific) – A quick check of the auction site shows bidding now stands at $180,000. Better check all the cushions, and under the car seats for loose change, and maybe go ahead and get that second mortgage on the house if you plan on bidding for coffee with Tim.

Update (4/26/2013 – 12:30 PM Pacific) – Bidding for the Tim Cook coffee meeting is now up to a whopping $580,000, setting a new all-time CharityBuzz record! It even beat Bill Clinton’s record of 255,000, and still has 18 days left! That better be some damn good coffee!
